FALWELL'S PROPHECY "The Second Coming of Christ will most likely be within the next ten years and The Antichrist is alive today and is a Jewish Male." Rev. Falwell made this "prediction" in January 1999. On 20 January 1999 The ADL {Anti-Defamation League} said, "Rev. Falwell's statement borders on anti-Semitism at best and is anti-Semitism at worst, rooted in Christian Fundamentalist Extremism." ECHOS OF AUSCHWITZ The prophetic statement of Rev. Falwell is irresponsible, misleading and fuels The Fires of Hatred against Jews.
{1} It is accepted that we are living in Biblical "End Times." So
of The Antichrist: The Beast of Rev:13. "He {The Antichrist} shall not regard the God of his fathers nor the desire of women, nor regard any god: for he shall magnify himself above them all." "But in their place, He shall honor a god of forces; and a god that his fathers did not know he shall honor with gold and silver, with precious stones and pleasant things". {Dan:11:37-38} The above clearly states the "God of his fathers," A "God which his fathers did not know". If The Antichrist would be born Jewish, The Scripture would read, "He will not honor the God of OUR Fathers: YHWH, the GOD which OUR fathers knew and we know..." THE SCRIPTURE DOES NOT SAY THE ANTICHRIST WILL BE JEWISH In fact it seems to indicate the opposite. At the time The Book of Daniel was written, there were many "gods" of the pagan world. The "god of his fathers" could refer to BEL or MARDUK: the Babylonian god. Babylon as told in this book enslaved {the prophet, Daniel, and Israel}. Yet this Prophecy is speaking way into the future -- to at least 2000 ad. Therefore the "God of his fathers" may refer to modern-day Christianity or Islam. {2 of the 3 Monotheistic Religions}. The Antichrist will honor a "strange" god -- No doubt an altered version of the name Lucifer or Satan. {Rev:13}. It's clear that Rev. Falwell is exceeding what is written. "Every word of God is pure; He is a shield to those who trust in Him. Do not add to His words, Lest He reprove you, and you are found to be a liar". Prov:30:5-6 We must ask, why does Jerry Falwell, who carries the titles Reverend, Pastor, and Chancellor of a Bible College make the statement: "THE ANTICHRIST WILL BE A JEWISH MALE" Why can't Jerry Falwell correctly read the scripture in DAN: 11? WHY DOES REV. FALWELL MAKE A STATEMENT THAT IS SO HURTFUL AND ENFLAMING AGAINST THE JEWISH PEOPLE? THERE ARE ONLY TWO CONCLUSIONS WE CAN DRAW
1} He truly does not know how to read properly and in context.
CONCLUSIONS THAT WE MAY HAVE OVERLOOKED? WHAT DO YOU THINK? DOUBLE JEOPARDY This is not the first time that Rev. Falwell has made an inflammatory, anti-Semitic" statement to the national press! In the late 1980's The Rev. Falwell stirred up a firestorm of controversy and anti-Semitic thought when he stated: "ALL JEWS ARE GOING TO HELL" A few weeks later, Rev. Falwell was forced to "clarify" his statement; by saying, "He meant those who reject Christ as Savior will not go to Heaven." Why didn't he make this second statement in the first place? Traditional Christian Theology is quite clear, "Those who reject Christ will not be granted Heaven." So Falwell's statement certainly wasn't news. He could just as well have called a press conference to announce that the sun will rise tomorrow in the east. WHAT MOTIVATED REV. FALWELL TO MAKE THIS HURTFUL STATEMENT?

of a Bible College} totally insensitive to anti-Semitism?
b} Does Rev. Falwell fail to practice
self-honesty and take a hard look
There is a moral to this story, best summed-up by Jesus in the Gospel: "Hypocrite! First remove the beam from your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck out of your brother's eye". {Matt:7:5}. It is always easier to see the faults in others rather than to see the flaws within ourselves. A GREAT RESPONSIBILITY Reverend Falwell has set himself up as a national Christian Leader. The benefits from this are the admiration of his following and A Very Comfortable Life Style, indeed. But along with these benefits of Power and Wealth go A Great Responsibility. FALWELL'S FOLLY
